EbixMeridian

Integrations and ACORD connectivity.

EbixASP connects to the rest of the insurance market through the channels the market runs on: bidirectional ACORD data exchange, eForms submitted to carriers and MGAs by print, email, or fax, and data that moves in and out of the platform through Excel imports and standard exports.

Connectivity built on the industry standard

EbixASP frames connectivity around the ACORD standard and data portability rather than a directory of point-to-point integrations. What carriers, MGAs, and counterparties share is the ACORD format, and that is the format the platform reads and writes.

TEAM-UP Carrier Download

Policy, claims, and direct bill commission files download from carrier servers in ACORD-standard AL3 and process into the system. See the TEAM-UP module for the full picture.

ACORD Data Exchange

Bidirectional exchange under the ACORD standard, so policy and account data moves between EbixASP and the parties that speak the industry format.

eForms Submission

Completed ACORD forms delivered to carriers and MGAs by print, email, or fax, populated from the account data already in the system.

Report Export

Every report in the 200+ library exports to PDF, Excel, and HTML, so the numbers travel to accountants, partners, and carriers in the format they use.

Excel Import

Data moves into EbixASP from Excel, so books built up in spreadsheets or exported from other systems load without manual re-keying.

Data Export

The same portability applies on the way out: your data leaves EbixASP through exports and report output whenever you need it elsewhere.

Browser Access

EbixASP is a cloud platform accessed in the browser, so every office, branch, and remote producer works against the same live data.

ACORD forms as the working format

Ebix eForms turns account data into completed ACORD applications for personal and commercial lines, including state-specific supplements. The form is edited directly on the form screen, and the data entered there is re-used to populate the next form on the account instead of being typed again.

Delivery follows however the receiving carrier or MGA works: print for the file, email for the underwriter, fax where fax is still the channel. The submission leaves the system the data lives in, so what goes out matches what is on the account.

Data portability in both directions

A management system holds the agency's most valuable asset, so how data gets in and out matters as much as what happens inside. EbixASP loads data from Excel on the way in and hands it back through exports and report output on the way out, with the full 200+ report library exporting to PDF, Excel, and HTML.

Conversions from earlier Ebix systems

For agencies on Infinity, InsureNET, Elite, or EbixONE, the largest data movement of all runs on established migration paths: clients, policies, and accounting history convert into EbixASP masters through an assessed and validated process.

How migration works

Formats the market already uses

No proprietary file formats between you and your counterparties. The channels EbixASP reads and writes are the ones the insurance market runs on today.

Bidirectional ACORD exchange

Policy and account data in and out under the ACORD standard.

Print, email, and fax delivery

eForms and certificates reach carriers and MGAs through the channel they accept.

PDF, Excel, and HTML output

Every standard report exports to the three formats offices work in daily.

Excel import

Spreadsheet data loads into the platform without manual re-keying.
