What eForms covers
Six capabilities that take the agency from a blank ACORD form to a delivered one without typing the account data again.
Populated from Account Data
Electronic ACORD forms complete themselves from the EbixASP account record: named insured, addresses, policy details, and coverage data land in the right fields.
Editing on the Form Screen
Changes are made directly on the form, as it will print. The screen the CSR works on is the document the carrier receives.
Print, Email, and Fax Delivery
The finished form goes out the way the recipient works: printed for the file, emailed to the underwriter, or faxed where fax is still the channel.
Personal and Commercial Lines
The forms library serves both sides of the book, from personal lines applications to commercial applications and their schedules.
State-Specific Supplements
State supplements, such as the state auto supplements, attach for the states where the risk sits, so the packet matches the filing requirements.
Data Re-Used Across Forms
What is entered on one form populates the other forms that need it: the application, its supplements, and the forms that follow share one set of answers.
ACORD applications, completed from the account
The form opens with the account data already in place. The CSR reviews it, adjusts what the submission requires, and the edit happens on the form itself: the fields on the screen are the fields on the printed page, so there is no separate data-entry screen to reconcile against the output.
Where the risk requires a state supplement, the supplement draws from the same answers as the application it accompanies. One correction on the record corrects the packet.
Named insured
Mailing address
Policy number
Effective date
Certificates of insurance with holder templates
Certificates build from holder templates, and active holders carry as defaults, so the routine certificate run starts from the holder list the account already maintains rather than from a blank screen.
At renewal season, mass print issues the full holder list in one pass. The Desktop Print Utility handles the high-volume output, for certificates and for statements alike.
From account record to delivered form
The path a form takes through the system, entered once and re-used from then on.
Open the form from the account
Select the ACORD form on the account it concerns. The relevant fields are already completed from the record.
Review the populated fields
Named insured, addresses, policy details, and coverage data arrive from EbixASP, so review starts from a completed form.
Edit on the form screen
Anything that needs adjusting is changed directly on the form, in the layout the recipient will see.
Deliver by print, email, or fax
The form goes out through the channel the recipient uses, from the same screen it was completed on.
Re-use the data on the next form
The answers carry forward: supplements, related forms, and later submissions populate from what is already entered.
