EbixMeridian

Claims tracked from first notice to close.

EbixASP records the loss on the account the day it is reported, populates the matching ACORD forms from the claim data, and tracks the claim through to close, with the documentation staying on the account record.

What the claims module covers

The claim, the forms it generates, and the file it leaves behind, all held on the same account record as the policy.

First Notice of Loss

The loss is recorded against the policy the day it is reported, with claimant, loss date, and loss details captured on the claim record from the first call.

ACORD Forms from Claim Data

Claim data populates the matching ACORD forms, so the notice the carrier requires is completed from what was already entered rather than typed a second time.

Tied to the Policy and Account

Each claim belongs to the policy it arose under and the account that holds it, so loss history reads in context alongside the rest of the file.

Documentation on the Account

Correspondence, notes, and supporting documents stay on the account record for the life of the file, and remain there after the claim closes.

One file for the life of the claim

A claim in EbixASP is part of the account it belongs to. The policy it arose under, the forms it generated, and the correspondence it produced all sit on the same record, so answering a client question about a loss means opening the account, not reconstructing a paper trail.

When the claim closes, the documentation stays where it was filed. The loss history is on the account the next time the risk is marketed or the renewal is worked.

The claim from report to close

Four steps, each recorded on the account as it happens.

01

First notice

The loss is reported and recorded on the claim record, tied to the policy and the account from the first entry.

02

ACORD forms populated

The claim data completes the matching ACORD forms on screen, ready for review before anything leaves the office.

03

Carrier submission

The completed forms go to the carrier, and the submission is part of the claim record rather than a sent-items folder.

04

Tracking to close

The claim is tracked through to close, with its documentation accumulating on the account as the file progresses.

Claims handling on the system of record

The module keeps claims work inside the same platform as policy administration and accounting, so the loss never becomes a side file.

No re-keying into loss notices

The ACORD form is populated from the claim record, then reviewed and edited on screen.

Loss history in context

Claims read alongside the policies and transactions of the account they belong to.

Documentation retained

Correspondence and supporting documents remain on the account after the claim closes.

Status visible to the service team

Anyone who opens the account sees where the claim stands, from first notice to close.
